Irlandzki inwestor Quinn Insurance i jego administrator Grant Thornton Dublin sprzedali hotel Sheraton w Krakowie i hotel Hilton w Sofii w Bułgarii. Łączna wartość transakcji wyniosła 62 mnl euro. Krakowski hotel został kupiony za 38 mln euro przez francuską sieć hotelową Algonquin. Obiekt, który otwarty został w 2004 roku, położony jest w prestiżowej lokalizacji nad Wisłą, w sąsiedztwie zamku. W swojej ofercie ma 232 pokoje. Z kolei Hilton Sofia został sprzedany za 24 mln euro lokalnemu konsorcjum firm. Znajduje się w odległości 2 km od centrum miasta i do dyspozycji gości hotelowych ma 245 pokoje. Przy obu transakcjach doradzała firma Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels & Hospitality. Obsługę prawną zapewniła firma CMS Cameron McKenna.
